"Well, that girl in the hat just eye-fucked the shit out of me."

My Christmas was good. The seafood feast my mother prepared for the occasion was exceptional. Nothing beats home cooking. I need to learn how to cook. The risk of burning down my kitchen or creating an abomination that glows in the dark and will surely cut your life short should you digest it is too high. I'll take some courses in culinary arts one day. In the mean time i'll just have to pick up some cookbooks and practice. One day i'll be able to cook my own chinese food and Cafe East will have to find a way to cope with the loss of my regular contributions which will no doubt shake the financial stability of their institution. I also want to take some courses in automotive maintenance, so I can work on my own vehicle. Needless to say, that's what guys do amidst eating meat and working out. We work on cars. I should know how. Last I checked I am a guy, anyway. This should also provide some insight on what to expect should I need to take my vehicle to an auto shop and will know when i'm getting ripped off. The mechanic can walk up to me in their oil stained jumpsuit and tell me that the reason my car isn't running right is because of my damaged turbine defibulator, which will cost $2000 to repair and i'll know better. Oh, yeah. New Years Eve I cleaned my apartment, washed dishes, and did the laundry. Not that interesting of a night, really. Everyone was shooting off fireworks, however I could have sworn I heard gunshots amidst them. Someone had passed on a story to me that two guys were firing off guns into the night sky once on New Years Eve. The police arrived on the scene and demanded that they dropped their weapons, but the refused and were shot. They both died. Now, i'm not claiming I always make the best decisions in life, in fact, I do dumb things on a regular basis, but I, however, am a proud owner of common sense. First of all, what goes up must come down, and those bullets those goons shot into the air, yeah, they could come down on someone's head. It happens. Secondly, having fun is one thing, but when local law enforcement shows up and draws their weapons on you and demands that you refrain from doing something that you obviously shouldn't be doing to begin with, you stop and do as they say, otherwise you know that future you're always used to expecting to be around, it can be taken from you. New Years. Heather and Stephanie spent the night at my place. Now, this was the first time i'd ever met them. Heather, i've known for years, but only talked to on the phone. I met her on the net several years ago. Stephanie was a friend of hers. I didn't know her that well. They go to school out of town and were visiting for the holidays. Considering that Heather and I made an agreement that we'd meet when we had the opportunity, that day became the present and it was rather sudden, but we had a good time. When they showed up, Heather attempted to tackle me. I'd forgotten, but she said she could take me down on the phone and said she'd prove it when we finally met. When I was greeting them at the door she started snapping at me to get back. I had no idea what she was doing. I stepped back and that's when she ended up on me. Unexpected, but she didn't bring me down. I'd chatted with Stephanie on the net before and seen pictures of her amidst some that Heather had sent me. She was much prettier in person. Both of them were, but I was particularly drawn to her. We started to play Life, but after opening the game, Heather decided because it was the new version and not the old one, she didn't want to play it and so we got out Monopoly instead. Stephanie seemed to buy all of the property before Heather or I had a chance and for some reason, Heather seldom landed on any of it, yet every other turn I was forking out money to Stephanie. It was a sham I tell you! We then watched Love Actually, but we didn't manage to finish it because we were too tired. The sleeping arrangements were a complicated situation. Stephanie wasted no time jumping in my bed, however Heather ended up on the couch because she claimed she didn't feel right taking my bed from me. I tried to persuade her to sleep with her friend and let me take the couch, but she refused. I ended up sleeping with Stephanie. I'd flirted with Stephanie most of the night and I could tell she was receptive to it. What to do, I wondered. Then I made a decision and went back there, into the darkness of my bedroom. I need to change my lifestyle. I'm young. I should be out partying, having a good time, meeting people, making bad decisions. I don't want to look back and say I didn't do anything. I intend on travelling and getting into the extreme sports like snowboarding and skydiving, but that's a bit off considering my situation right now. I'm not stable enough. I have other priorities that need attending right now, getting into a better vehicle, getting into school, and finding a better job, but I could definitely be out enjoying myself alot more than I am.
